It all began over a coffee machine - like most good things.
Andy makes his way over for his daily three- Double Espresso, Piccolo and a Long Macchiato. Yes three coffees, every sitting.
At this time Aimee was disguised as a barista, two long blacks deep, she sees the quick, unmistakeable walk of Santa aka Andy bustling towards the door.
The grinder begins to hum.
Just like that, a whole bunch of caffeine, some outstanding snacks + beverages, many laughs, a broken barrel known as ‘the incident’, a whole lot of understanding and a deep recognition of alignment in passions and morals catapulted this unlikely duo into the world of Artisan ACID.
About
For the two of us, the philosophy behind our Happy Little Accidents vinegar highlights life’s beauty and the wonderful twists and turns you don’t see coming. It perfectly explains how fantastic wine that did not have a home was the start of our partnership and vinegar journey.
Handcrafted, small batch, artisanal creations.
The name
With hair permed by the gods, a messy painting palate and a voice that could soothe even the wildest of minds - enter the origins of our name. Robert (Bob) Ross (1942 –1995) was an American painter, art instructor, and television host. During one of the over 400 episodes of The Joy of Painting he said the famous words: “We don’t make mistakes, just happy accidents”. The quote has been said in many ways over the course of those 400 shows. Mistakes aren’t bad — they are just waiting for the opportunity to be a happy accident.
